CEPTUAL® STRUCTURAL applied to the auditorio’s spectacular skylight

This building has been redesigned by local architect César Portela, combining the edifice’s traditional style with 21st-century aesthetics and equipping it with state-of-the-art facilities for new social purposes.
CEPTUAL® STRUCTURAL is the safety glass with structural features based on TEMPEREDGLASS PLUS® technology used at the Afundación headquarters. Here it has been applied to create a spectacular skylight in the most symbolic and idiosyncratic area of the building: the foyer, a contemporary avant-garde space of today.
The walkways line the glorioys central vacuum, enabling onlookers to see the world differently, depending on which level and position they find themselves, under the gaze of the oculus, a permanent connection with the Cosmos.
CEPTUAL® SVS intelligent glass has also been applied to provide intimacy or enable vision through glass walls in the private areas of the building.
